In the year 1998, Trekker Trails (Legally registered as Raaika Tours and Treks Pvt. Ltd.) was founded as a leading destination management company, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey in the industry of travel and adventure. As a registered travel trekking agency and tour operator, we proudly hold memberships with prestigious organizations such as the Nepal Association of Tour & Travel Agents (NATTA), Nepal Association of Tour Operators (NATO), and Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN). These affiliations demonstrate our commitment to maintaining the highest standards in the travel industry.
At Trekker Trails, our values are deeply rooted in the principles of eco-tourism. We passionately believe in the responsible and sustainable exploration of the pristine landscapes that Nepal has to offer. Our dedication to eco-friendly practices is not restricted to words but is reflected in our actions. We attempt to minimize our environmental impact while maximizing the positive contributions of tourism to local communities.
We actively participate in social and conservation programs in addition to our function as a tourism facilitator. We recognize the relationship between tourism, society, and the environment. Thus, we have taken deliberate steps to give back to the communities we serve and contribute to the preservation of Nepal’s natural treasures. Trekker Trails’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program has seen the implementation of significant projects. The Green Far-West program, which was started in 2010 in cooperation with Yeti Airlines and neighborhood forest users, is one significant project. More than 150,000 saplings have been successfully planted as a result of the program in the districts of Doti, Darchula, Kailali, and Kanchanpur in Nepal’s far western regions. The Save the Tiger Campaign, which aims to protect the tiger population while also increasing tourism in Bardia, Banke National Park, and Suklaphanta National Park, is another important CSR project. Trekker Trails’ commitment to improving the environment and the people they serve is shown in these efforts.
