Kathmandu (Arrival) – Transfer to Hotel (Private Transfer)

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, our representative will be waiting at the airport for your welcome. Then board a private vehicle and be transferred to your hotel. Check into your hotel and rest after your journey. Your guide briefs you regarding the Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour.

Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore ancient temples and vibrant markets and experience the unique atmosphere of Nepalese urban life.

Kathmandu

After breakfast, you will have a full day sightseeing in the different peaceful monasteries near Kathmandu valley.

At first, you will visit Boudhanath Stup, where you will grab an opportunity to learn about Tibetan Buddhism. Boudhanath is the largest dome-shaped stupa in Nepal, where the practices of Buddhism can be experienced at their best. Then your tour continues to Kapan Monastery and fulbari Monastery, where you will experience the daily lifestyle of monks and nuns.

After exploring the monasteries, you will drive towards Soyambhunath, which is also called Monkey Temple. Soyambhunath Temple is one of the ancient holy sites for both Hindus and Buddhist and during your visit, you witness monks chanting.

Kathmandu – Lumbini (Fly- Flight Transfer)

In the early morning flight, you will fly towards Lumbini, a birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha. During this scenic flight, you will witness beautiful mountains and changes into plain landscapes because Lumbini lies in the Terai region.

After 35 minutes of scenic flight, you will reach Lumbini, birthplace, of lord Buddha. The, you will be escorted towards your hotel and get some rest. After your lunch, you will have a half day sightseeing tour in Lumbini. You will visit visit Lumbini Garden, Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, and many more monasteries made by different countries. During your visit to Lumbini, you will learn about the invaluable culture attached to Buddhism.

Lumbini – Kathmandu (Fly- Flight Transfer) – Namobuddha – Kathmandu (Drive - Private Transfer)

After breakfast, you will visit the peace pagoda before heading towards the airport. Your flight duration will be around 35 minutes.

Once you reach Kathmandu, you will be escorted towards your hotel and have lunch. Then, you will drive towards Namobuddha, where you will get the Himalayan panorama of Dorje Lakpa, Gaurishankar, Langtang, Shishapangma, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Number and Rolwaling etc. Not only in Himalayan views, Namobuddha is a scared pilgrimage site for buddhist people.

You will visit the Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Moastery which is the main attraction of this place. After exploring the area, you will drive back to Kathmandu and then escorted towards your hotel.
