5:30 AM – 6:30 AM: Drive from hotel to Tribhuvan International Airport (Domestic Terminal)
Our private vehicle will arrive at the hotel at 5:30 am to pick you up for your Heli tour. After that, you will start your ride to the airport domestic terminal.
6:30 AM – 7:00 AM: Helicopter Boarding
After arriving at the domestic terminal, you will complete the check-in process and retrieve your luggage. Before boarding, the airport officer will check all necessary documents, and you will be ready to fly.
7:00 AM – 8:00 AM: Fly to Lukla
After completing all your processes, you will fly to Lukla. During this scenic flight, you will fly over a fantastic vista of green hills, the village of Dolakha, and Jiri. Then you will see the thick rhododendron forest as you cross the Lamjura-La Pass. After 45 minutes of scenic flight, you will reach Lukla Airport, the smallest runway in the world.
8:00 AM – 8:15 AM: Refueling helicopter at Lukla Airport
Once you land at the most thrilling runway of Lukla airport, you will witness the local sherpa culture and tradition. It will take around 15 minutes to refuel the helicopter.
8:15 AM – 8:30 AM: Fly to Kala Patthar
After refueling the helicopter at Lukla Airport, you will fly towards Kala Patthar. During this scenic flight, the inflight commentary will tell you the exact location and whether it is the base of legendary Mt. Everest or the massive Kumbhu Glacier. You will also witness the great views of the mountains, like Mt. Everest, Mt. Pumori, and Mt. Lhoste, while flying to Kala Patthar.
8:30 AM – 8:45 AM: Landing in Kala Patthar and Exploring
After landing at Kala Patthar, you will see breathtaking landscapes. You will witness the view of the majestic peaks of the Khumbu region. You will get 15 minutes of exploring time in Kala Patthar, which seems like not long enough, but you will make wonderful memories.
8:45 AM – 9:00 AM: Fly to Syangboche
After enjoying the magical moments at Kala Patthar, you will now fly to Syangboche, where the world’s highest hotel is located, the Everest View Hotel. Upon your arrival, you will have breakfast. On the flight over Syangbivhe, you will witness marvelous views of Gorak Shep, Kumbu Glacier, Monasteries, Chortens, and the Himalayas of the Everest region.
9:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Breakfast at Everest View Hotel
The Everest View hotel, which is well-known for offering views of Mount Everest from every vantage point, is located in Syangboche. It’s the perfect location to enjoy the breathtaking view of snow-capped peaks in comfort. There is a magnificent view of Everest during your full and satisfying breakfast at the Everest View Hotel.
9:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Refueling helicopter at Lukla Airport
With breathtaking views of the Himalayas, you will fly back to Lukla after enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Nothing is more thrilling than a close-up, unobstructed view of the Himalayas from above. The heli will land at Lukla once more for a 15-minute stopover to refuel before returning to Kathmandu.
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Fly to Kathmandu
At last, you will get a final glimpse of the wide range of the Everest region landscapes as you view down on Namche Bazaar, Lukla, and Phakding before returning to Kathmandu. You will be driven back to the hotel in a private vehicle after this spectacular flight.
