Upon arrival in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, our representative will be waiting at the airport for your welcome. Then board a private vehicle and be transferred to your hotel. Check into your hotel and rest after your journey.
Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore ancient temples and vibrant markets and experience the unique atmosphere of Nepalese urban life.
Kathmandu – Pokhara (Drive – Private Transfer)
Early in the morning, your trekking guides will pick you up from your hotel and head towards your destination. Embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara, a picturesque lakeside city surrounded by the panorama of the Annapurna and Machapuchare mountain ranges. Pokhara not only offers serene lakes, caves, and stunning viewpoints but is also a gateway to adventure tourism in the Annapurna region.
Pokhara – Kagbeni (Drive – Private Transfer)
After having your breakfast, you will start your scenic drive towards Kagbeni. The ride will pass through the small village and take you to Beni. The rugged road then starts, passing by huge waterfalls and the Kali Gandaki riverbank.
After crossing the huge Rupse waterfall, you will reach Tatopani, a natural hot spring. After a few hours of driving through passing views of the shifting scenery, you will arrive at Marpha, known for Apple, and then proceed on a bumpy road to Jomsom and Kagbeni.
Kagbeni – Jharkot
Today, after breakfast, you will have a short hike towards Jarkhot. It is a short trek on the dry, rugged trail. On your trek to Jharkot, you will see the old fortified village. The main attraction of this village is the striking red gompa of the Sakya sect of Buddhism. The red gompa is more than 500 years old and also has an active Tibetan Medicine School. From here, you can also witness the stunning views of the valley and Thorong La Pass (the highest point of the Annapurna Circuit).
Jharkot – Muktinath
Today, you will visit an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, Muktinath Temple. You can explore and learn about the rituals and cultures of the people. You will find 108 bathing spouts and an eternal flame.
Every year, thousands of devotees from different countries visit Muktinath. From the temple, you can see stunning views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Nilgiri, and some other peaks. After visiting Muktinath Temple, you can explore the nearby village and hike around to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Muktinath – Lupra Valley – Jomsom
After breakfast, you will start your journey towards Jomsom via Lupra Valley and visit the local Bonpo Monastery. You will have a short yet beautiful hike with amazing views of the Himalayan range. After arriving in Lupra Valley, you will visit Bonpa Monastery, an ancient pre-Buddhist religion that is no longer represented by many monasteries, making this a unique opportunity to learn about this ancient animist religion while taking a breathtaking alternate route back to Jomsom.
Jomsom – Dumba Lake (Hike) – Tatopani (Drive – Private Transfer)
After breakfast, you will hike towards the scared lake of Buddhist people, Dumba Lake, which lies at the base of Mt. Niligiri. According to the beliefs of local people, Dumba Lake changed its color to red once by itself, and later Buddhist monks performed rituals to change their color into a natural color, which is emerald green.
After exploring the area, you will hike back to Jomsom and then start your drive towards Tatopnai. During the ride, you will witness the apple orchid in Marpha. On the way to Tatopnai, you can visit the Kali Gandaki River Valley and witness the world’s deepest gorge, the Kali Gandaki gorge. After reaching Tatopani, you can relax in a hot spring bath.
Tatopani – Pokhara (Drive – Private Transfer)
After enjoying the hot spring bath at Tatopani in the morning, you will have breakfast and drive to Pokhara, which takes 9 hours. The ride to Pokhara offers picturesque views of the landscape. The journey along the lush green hills and the Kali Gandaki River is going to be enjoyable. After reaching there, you will check into the hotel, explore Pokhara in the evening, and enjoy the lakeside area.
Pokhara – Kathmandu (Drive – Private Transfer)
After having breakfast, you will drive back to Kathamndu. The ride takes you through stunning terrain, little villages, and the Marsyangdi and Trishuli rivers on the way. After reaching Kathmandu, you will be escorted towards the hotel, and in the evening, you will have dinner and rest.
Kathmandu (Departure)
Depending on your flight schedule, our representative will escort you towards the airport. Before your fight schedule starts, you may have some free time in Kathmandu for last-minute shopping or sightseeing.
